Lis Wiehl is an American writer and legal analyst who previously worked as the Fox News analyst.
She has been an adjunct law professor at New York Law School and was formerly an Associate Professor at University of Washington Law School. The analyst was a lawyer on National Public Radio's show and The Radio Factor hosted by Bill O'Reilly. She appeared regularly on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly, The Kelly File with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl graduated from West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She holds an undergraduate degree in Arts from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) in addition to an JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as the US attorney. She served as a legal correspondent to the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as "the the deputy chief of investigative counsel for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." She worked as an associate professor of law with an appointment at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. Between 2001 and 2017, Wiehl worked as an attorney analyst at Fox News.
